Classic Kenya Safari

An exciting family safari, exploring the Masai Mara and Ol Pejeta Conservancy before relaxing on the Kenyan coast, surrounded by the beautiful Indian Ocean. Spend some quality time with your family within idyllic private camps. This trip is well suited to families with younger children - each camp provides a great experience for children and adults alike. At Karen Blixen Camp, children will be taught by the local Masai, using bows and arrows, bead making, and how to make a fire - a completely interactive experience. Ol Pejeta features a pool and family suites, whilst Pinewood Resort provides activities such as evening BBQ's with acrobats and dancers.

What to expect?

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy your days making the most of this fantastic corner of Africa. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is renowned for its good sightings of black rhino, elephants, lion, cheetah, grazing herds and leopards. Your days will be taken up by morning and evening game drives as you explore this stunning wilderness seeking out the game as the Bush unfolds before your eyes. In the evenings sit back and relax at your camp, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and admire the never-ending stars of the African skies. Other activities during your time here include night game drives, game walks and a lion tracking program which monitors lions in the area.

Mara North Conservancy

Enjoy your days exploring this wonderful part of the Mara North Conservancy on shared game drives with your professional guide. Because you are staying in one of the Conservancies, night drives and walking safaris are available (age restrictions apply, please ask for details). The Mara North Conservancy is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas within the Masai Mara Ecosystem. Throughout the year great numbers of herbivores such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, Thomson`s gazelles and impalas seek the area for water and grazing and the big cats and other predator are never far away! Huge hippos and large crocodiles can be found lazing around in the waters of the Mara River.

Kenyan Coast

Enjoy your final game drive in the morning. You will be transferred by road to the airstrip and fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi Wilson airport for a short transfer before your onwards flight to Diani Beach. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your beach lodge before being able to relax after the last week’s safari at this beautiful seafront location. Chill out on the beach, laze by the pool, or treat yourself to a relaxing massage.
