I am an Asia and Polar Specialist here at Natural World Safaris. Travel has been instilled in me from a young age with my father, my siblings, and I exploring all around the world to weird and wonderful places! Seeing wild elephants and tigers in the early 90’s was not something any of my friends got to do at such a young age so for this I am forever grateful as I have the travel bug for sure. I lived in Spain for a few years and at the age of 16 we packed up and moved to Thailand where I attended college and University. After moving back to the UK I got itchy feet and booked an around the world year-long trip. After moving home and getting back into the Industry I was in ( Jewellery ) I knew this didn’t fulfil me. I then moved into Travel for the last 6 years putting together high-end tailor-made trips all over the world, and I also took a lot of trips myself Mauritius, Maldives, Borneo, India, St Kitts & Nevis, Miami & Beijing to name a few. I am looking forward to moving into more of a niche market of Polar & Asia, and cannot wait to help our clients plan their dream safaris!

What is your most memorable wildlife encounter?

Spotting wild orangutans in the trees whilst on a River safari down the Kinabatangan river safari In Borneo or swimming with sharks in the Maldives & Fiji

If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why?

Living with emperor penguins as it would be a once in a lifetime experience I love penguins and haven't been to Antarctica as of yet

What do you love most about Asia?

The culture, the food, the smells of food vendors down every road and a gorgeous meal for £1.50, the people, the beaches, and jungles, the history, the markets, the hospitality, and how friendly 99.9% of the people are - they are always so welcoming, so basically everything!

How many countries and continents have you visited?

33 countries and 5 continents

What's the farthest away from "civilisation" that you've been?

Doing a solo trip & Climbing Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, Or cast away Island in Fiji for the day after being invited by someone who was sailing around the world we had met on the beach that morning on the island I was staying on!

What is your favourite souvenir from your travels?

A bracelet the children made for me from an orphanage I was volunteering in for a few months in Cambodia.
