I have recently started working within the team of Finance. Everyone here at NWS is so friendly, approachable and happy to help and it has been a pleasure to be welcomed into the office.

I have travelled to the usual holiday destinations within EU, USA & Caribbean with my two children who are now all grown up and starting their travels of their own! I also enjoy frequent trips to North Wales where my parents live (Anglesey) which is a very beautiful part of the UK and always find something new to see and do.

Your favourite travel destination and animal:

North Wales with family is always a favourite, but guaranteed sunshine is good too! Favourite animal is a difficult one…… Penguins, Elephants and Big Cats. I also have a Tropical Aquarium and find it mesmerising and relaxing to watch.

What is your most memorable wildlife encounter?

Mackerel fishing off a boat off Anglesey when a seal popped his head up chasing the fish we had caught and ruined the whole trip (I didn’t care), we were then followed home by Porpoise chasing the boat.

What's the farthest away from "civilisation" that you've been?

Forests in Dominican Republic, also some pretty remote places in Wales haha

Why do you travel?

A change of scene and culture, not to mention escaping the greyness/darkness of a UK Winter.

If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why?

Any, they all look superb. I could not choose one!
