I work as an Operation Assistant at NWS, helping the Destination Specialists create incredible trips and unforgettable memories. My background is in music events, being motivated by the creation of once in a lifetime experiences, something I use here with my love for travel and animals.

Your favourite travel destination and animal:

My favourite travel destination I’ve been to was Corfu, I have fond memories of swimming around an abandoned ship and exploring the old town. My favourite animal is an elephant, because of how intelligent and caring they are, forming deep social bonds.

What is your first travel-related memory?

Ziplining in the mountains in Switzerland, and the huge Saint Bernard I’d seen on the way up!

If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why?

Very hard to choose just one, I’d either do the Birds, Bears and Belugas trip as I’ve always wanted to see the Northern Lights and arctic wildlife, or the Zebra Migration, Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls trip so I could see elephants, Victoria Falls and do some activities there!

What do you love most about Polar?

I love how remote and unique Polar trips are, the vast landscapes and spectacular scenery, with great wildlife-watching opportunities.

What is the best travel advice you have received?

To not overstretch yourself with activities and a strict itinerary, instead allowing time to really explore the area and be spontaneous, or to be truly present in the moment.
